When I lived in Hawaii many many ...Cracking me up! When I lived in Hawaii many many eons ago, I felt the same way about typical "touristy" stuff. Have to say though, that we went to a real pig roast out on the North Shore and the memories of that wonderful day with our friends eating and drinking all of the traditional Hawaiian food still resonate with me now.
